100K capital requirement

First of all.... it is not that easy to open an account at Dukascopy. You have to prove that you have 100K net worth per year. If you can't prove that then you can't trade Evolution. I think people should be aware of this. This is not some bucketshop that takes anyone. If you cant, then $599.00 goes POOF!!!. It may be prudent to set-up account first before you by the product. I'm a real trader...not someone that trying to sell you a link to buy. We all know what happen with FAPT turbo original...good for whole week. Don't think that spreads at Dukascopy can't widen....they can!...and we all know that the original FAPT did very well by taking the broker's money. I have spreads at ATC that are pretty close to Dukascopy and it dose not perform all that well. So, spreads are not always key. I am not going to jump at this because of this.

You know, the fact that there are so few transparent brokers out there while most operating dealing desks is sad. And right when an ECN broker with nice spreads and a low minimum comes along... MB Trading.... the NFA has to go and pass these bizarre rules. I do believe, however, that more and more brokers will adapt the STP/ECN model and make FAIR forex trading available to the masses.

On the flipside, if you wan't to make ANY kind of money in the forex market you're probably going to need at least $1,000.00 in your account. Otherwise, you're making peanuts or you'll have to use ridiculous to risk to make anything substantial.

I guess only the stupid people actually think the NFA has jurisdiction in FOREX regulation. Goldman and the gang at it again. Now they will really know where to take out traders.... This game is about to get a whole lot tougher. Running stops and getting their price is now a whole lot easier for them and harder for us. FIFO allows institional traders and banks to get better liquidity when they run stops.
