9 April trading

I called as soon as I noticed my account lost connection and the history was gone! My fear was that today was the end of trading for the week due to the holiday. They said they had a MT4 upgrade that failed and all MT4 systems were down include my Pro accounts MT4.

I had them quote me on my two open trades and manually exit them over the phone. I had to get my position lot size and entry price from the charts since there was no account history. I Exited one EURGBP with a -1 loss and the other EURCHF with a +3 pip gain. Hopefully I am up about $75 or more after the all said and done and not in the negative. Probably missed out on some more pips but better safe than sorry.

I turned off my experts for now and still have no history. The charts seem to be moving again.

This really sucks but I managed to get out ok. We will see when the history comes back online. This could have been really bad.

My other Live AlpariUS account was in a EURCHF trade. I manually exited it with a 4 pip profit after watching it a bit and shutdown for the weekend and quit while I was ahead. Volume was really really low tonight too.

I am Not trading on Monday since Easter is on Monday in Europe.

I was not sure if it would trade today so I shut it off.
So no trades for me.

What is Alpari EURGBP spread during the scalping time ?

6 pips - it used to be 5 last Friday. It changed to 6 this Monday. I called and complained and asked if they can cut me a deal, but they said that's how it going to be until they change it again.

They advertised new great low pips starting at 1.8 but forgot to mention they were raising EURGBP from 5 to 6 and EURCHF from 3 to 5 during the Asian.

My #1 choice is MBTrading but they are still demo'ing and I still can't get a date from them. All I hear is soon from their support and other posts. My#2 is FXCM if I can get an "active trader" MT4 account with the to test. (read their MT4 forum) Low ECN spread + commission just like MBTrading.

It's not a perfect MT4 world out there.

With higher spread, amount of trade opened by FPT will be lower right ?
Last night I found that Alpari-Forex.com (Alpari Russian) has EURGBP from 2.8 - 4

Btw. I'm still looking for a good broker right now.
anyone can recommend me ?
