I assume this means using your hedge strategy.... I might be willing to put that to a live test. The question is how automated could we make it, because most of my attention would be focused on my real live account.

I agree with Earl. It give your account a good fresh start. Hanging on to a losing trade for ages is NOT the way to make money in forex.

I never use to think that...LOL

but I find it fun to race against bad trades...and you can actually make money doing so...

doing your Technical Analysis on larger time frames using fib lines or good indicator programes will help you to place the FAP trades in context.

this will help you to know weather your trade has the likeliness of coming in now or soon or muuuuch later if ever...LOL

I used to do that (and sometimes still do) chase my losing trade but most of the time it always came back to bite my in the ass. I have learned to just cut my losses and move on before I lose more pips.

That's a hard lesson to learn. I think by nature we humans are very risk averse and illogically optimistic. We keep on hoping that given enough time a trade will turn profitable again. This reminds me of that scene in the Simpsons TV show episode where Homer is trying to roast a pig and somehow the pig ends up airborne and homer starts chasing it yeilling "it's just airborne, it's still good..it's still good"....
