April 8th trading

Right away a quick sell on EurGbp I am not trading anything else, I'm not even going to look at them to see if I should have been trading.

Ok all. I'm trying a new strategy tonight. I'm going to trade all four pairs, assuming the spreads will be within 6 pips on any one pair. I'm running EUR/GBP with LRR=25, the other 3 pairs LRR=5. For EUR/GBP I've set the EA to "only short" to stay with the long-term trend and hours from 21 to 0. For EUR/CHF I've set the EA to "only long" to stay with the long-term trend and hours from 21 to 0. For USD/CAD I'm limiting hours from 21 to 23 only. We'll see how that goes.

I only had two trades last night, both on Eur/chf.

I'm running the pro v45 and set the times for USDCAD as 2100 - 0000. However the EA picked up 2 trades after 0000! Both sells. One at 00:02 and the other at 01:12. Why did those trades get set? My GST offset is set correctly at +2 (Server time 2 hrs ahead of GMT).
Any similar experiences?

Schindawg did you pick up any trades outside of your set EA times?

Are you sure those times are gmt ?
For instance the two trades I caught last night were early on.

As you can see from the times the first was immediately after the EA started trading 2300 broker time (2200 BST & 2100 GMT).

I got a lot more trades with EURCHF (Alpari UK). This is only on my test account as I am taking a cautious approach, EURCHF seems to be performing well again:

I caught the same trades as you in my test account but also some later ones (see above). Were you trading live, and if so, did you catch the later ones too? I am worried that the fact that spreads are wider in the live account for EURCHF means some trades that happen in test don't happen live.

Hi Mark

Those two trades were on my demo account (Alpari) where the spread was 3 pips. I didn't get the trades on my live account because I was a bit late turning on the EA.I didn't get anymore trades as I lost my internet connection.
