Has anyone come up with some good backtesting results with a live $1000 account? I have a live $500 account with backtesting results to be 43 drawdown %. It might be high, but this is the percentage I'm willing to accept. I've been backtesting for a couple of days, but can't find any settings for my backtest that will yield anything less than a 58% drawdown percentage on a $1000 account. I would really appreciate to learn your decent settings and backtest results for a $1000 account. thanks

hey earl, i was wondering if i had the same settings on a $1000 account as i have on my $500 account, won't it be the same success? All I want to do is have the same type of settings but increase my lot amount for more profit. I'm very happy with my $500 account settings.
EURUSD,M5 inputs: Lots=0.03; LotsRiskReductor=1; MaxOrders=3; MaxLots=100; StopTime=1; aaa=20; bbb=8; TakeProfit=200; StopLoss=0; TrailingStop=0; UseMAControl=1; PeriodMA=21; PriceMA_0_6=0; TypeMA_0_3=0; SpanGator=0.9; SlipPage=30; OrderMagic=231313; SafetyGapDemarker=0.2; SafetyGapWPR=0; StartWorkTimeHour=0; StartWorkTimeMin=0; EndWorkTimeHour=0; EndWorkTimeMin=0;
these are my $500 account settings.
when i did the back test before i inplimented the settings, i had drawdown of 43%, now when i redid the backtest with the same settings it was at 50%(?).
now i tried with just increasing my lot amount to .10 instead of .03 with a $1000 acocunt, and this is what i got

i mean, yah this is great, but i'm looking for a little less drawdown while using lot.10
btw this last backtest was the best i could come up with. I'll keep backtesting until i find something with a little less drawdown (35-45% is my magic number)

did a backtest on .03 lot but increased my max trades to 10, giving me once again 58% drawdown %. than i increased my lot to .05 and max trades 5 and it gave me 56% DD, than i did .03 w max orders 5 gave me 48% DD, then did .1 with 1 max order, got 41% DD (which is good but the net profit is hardly bigger than my live $500 account settings with double the amount of deposit), than did .10 with 2 max orders, got 53% DD. I guess i could use some of these setttings, but i just can't find a good balance with the $1000 with good net profit and decent DD%. I'll just keep backtesting. thanks

I would go with 2 trades at a time
with a stop time of 10
I would got with a MA of 100 or 75 trust me
backtest and post results please

what significance does backtest net profit have on your live settings? Will it trade the same amount?

hey earl you suggest an MA 100-75, but i did some backtesting on MA21 stop time 1 that got me decent net profit and lower drawdown, what do you think of that

hey earl, i applied the settings with good drawdown, but the pilot doesn't make any trades whatsoever. Everything is on, working, but pilot does nothing with these settings, what gives?
