I have had several Messages saying " Old tick EURGBP15 0.95310/0.95340 " The icon next to the date, is a red circle with a white horizontal line in it. Does anyone get this, and if so , what does it mean...will it affect future trades ?

it means you are trying to trade on an 'old tick'- a price that is no longer valid, usually caused by synchronisation errors between servers.

I believe this related to MT4 removing old ticks data from the chart, once you reach the maximum bar limit for that chart pair. It is not something to worry about.
