That happened to me yesterday, but on an obvious uptrend FAPS sold twice...

I guess we have to wait the trade out and eventually it will hit profits...

If we judge FAPS all of the time then we can't trust it, but we should be able to trust it!

eurusd looks to be on a massive downtrend....at the level faps bought i dunno how long it will take to get back up :mad:

In a consolidated area at a potential bottom one can use the human factor in respect to FAPS as this bot is a breakout system. At the 1.2750 stall out bottom of the EUR/USD pair I have been taking longs and closing the shorts when they are in the money 5 to 15 pips by the bot. Now the system is taking longs for 25 pips. The system does not like to be closed manually. I am now in a long position at this bottom area and we will see the outcome but finally the system is recognizing the potential bottom and taking longs.

Between the system and my manual appplication doing 5 lots we are up $9k in the last few hours with 12 trades. I feel like I have given FAPS a bit of a fight to recognise the bottom and it seems to be responding but it took 3 to 4 close outs as it continued to go short in the wicks at a potential bottom. Otherwise, we would be waiting for the short to close and it is not getting there. Now the bottom might be taken out and I will have made a mistake but the bot has taken the long on its own and I feel much better long at this bottom fundamentally with a .5 basis rate cut next week even in a recession.-after the announcement I am good to let FAPS do its own thing.

Candlesticks on the 1 hour and 4 hour look bearish. Looks like bottom breakout from a candlestick pattern so leave short alone because bigger timeframe will always be a stronger move than the one minute.

Like the short this time.

Yeah ! It's done the same thing to me, and now all the 20pip wins are made worthless by one huge negative buy order $400+ and growing.:eek:
A stoploss is looking favourite to me.

See this is why I advocate a sane Stop Loss.....but I don't want to be the "I told you so" kind of guy so I'll quietly step into the background and watch FAPS rolling in those pips.
