I don't think it should effect us to much. The minimum for TP on the scalper is 6, and the maximum spread being 5 should actually work in our favor.

I chose FxPro due to their low spreads. It used to be 2-3 pips for both EURGBP and EURCHF. This news is certainly making me frown. If they don't drop the spreads after the holidays then my guess is simple: They see a swarm of successful FapTurbo traders and want to profit from it...

I'm keeping a close eye on them....

I'll check the spreads everyday and give my final decision at the end of January. Frankly, it doesn't sound good. Fapt is extremely sensitive to spreads. Trading with spreads more than 4 will be a gambling.
I hope I'm wrong but it seems that I'll close my live account.

Guys it is about the MAX spread and not the minimum.
You can see the spreads that they have now here on this page: click (https://www.fxpro.com/cfdforex)

Well then if they fuck us, then well have to go to a commission ECN broker to get low spreads for winning trades.

oWhat bothers me is that they still make money on a 3 pip spread. On a standard lot that would be close to what you would be paying to trade discount futures. So it would not behove them to keep spreads at 5, because FAPT users would close their accounts (as many others). If they are widening because of market conditions that would be a different matter....but if they are doing so to pocket the difference, then I would speculate that they would be closing the doors soon. Their recent marketing suggest better trading conditions and they do allow scalping. I think a lot of people are getting to excited over what has happen the last 2 weeks. We just need to be patient and see what happens next week or two before we make some logical decisions. FAPT was designed to stop emotion...not create it.
