I had a trade stop out 6 pips before my stop loss. The price never hit the stop loss. Does anyone know or have had this lousy broker do this to them??????

Yeah, just remember, when you close a sell order, you are closing at the "buy" price. And when you close a "buy" order you are closing at the "sell" price. So if you had a 6pip spread at the time between the two, you would hit the stoploss.
