Does Martin know Marcus Leary--LOL:p

I downloaded and it seems interesting....but far from a traditional scalper since it works on the 1hr EuroUSD. It could be a ploy to buy a real working version:D...but, nonetheless worth taking a look at. I'm sure all of us will be rich in back-testing. Could something free be better than FAPT? Well, I'm willing to find out...but hey, thanks very much for posting. Evaluation begins next week.

We will see if it passes Limit's scrutiny.:eek::p

Actually, I think these are two different EAs. Your link is talking about the Forex-Autocash scalper. It had an insane risk:reward (6 pip targets and 650 stops). It appeared to be optimized so there were no backtesting losses (for example, it only traded the EURUSD long). It wasn't free. I think it cost the standard $97.00.

As soon as it went live, the EURUSD started its huge downtrend and most people had a devastating loss.

This new free EA is being promoted by the Forex-Autocash guy and other affiliate "gurus" and was designed by Martin Anderson--whoever that is. It seems to use different logic, stops, targets, etc. than the "Autocash" (autobankrupt?) one.

Believe it or not, I opened a new demo account and installed this EA today. It made one trade today for a 70 pip profit!! LOL

I'm not impressed. The wrote to me telling me it's only had 1 loss in 9 years! Apart from the dozens I had when I tried it out a couple of months ago that is. :D

I think you got it confused with the supposedly never had a loss EA and proceeded to have a big loss in its first trade after it went for sale. The Forex Auto Cash. This one is different. Still, I wouldn't try it on any of my live accounts. I opened up a demo account just to see what it will do.

Sorry, you're right! That link has the same web site as mine though which threw me off. :o

Not much in the way of proof of performance on their web site. You'd expect at least a current forward test.

I've been running this off and on. So far I've had 3 trades: a 35 pip gain, a 6 pip gain and a 96 pip loss (ouch!). However, it's really not fair to test this during erratic, low-volume holiday trading. The developer recommended no trading during this time. The loss occured in the early U.S. afternoon on New Year's Eve.

Like FAPTurbo and other scalpers, this EA will need a lot more wins than losses to overcome the occasional stop-out. I'll probably test it more when volume picks back up.

I run some backtests with $1000 starting account on an Alpari live account, 90% modeling quality, 1H EURUSD, risk level = 5.

01/01/2008 - 30/11/2008: Net profit $691.54, max dd 10.79%, rel. dd 14.44%. Lot size started from 0.05 and the last was 0.09.

01/01/2007 - 31/12/2007: Net profit $1043, max dd 16.18%, rel. dd 16.18%. Lot size started from 0.05 and the last was 0.11.

01/01/2006 - 31/12/2006: Net profit $731.02, max dd 15%, rel. dd 15%. Lot size started from 0.05 and the last was 0.09.

Quote from the manual: 'I suggest that you limit any historical testing to a maximum of THREE YEARS but generally just the last 12 months for the following reason... the robot retrieves trade parameters from our main server and those parameters are optimised for current market conditions. Since markets change personality over time, the settings which we are trading with now may be wholly inappropriate (or at best, less than optimal) for earlier time periods so long term historical testing is going to be produce flawed results.'

Anyway, here are some backtest results from these not recommended years:

01/01/2005 - 31/12/2005: Net profit -625.41$, max dd 80.47%, rel. dd 80.47%.

01/01/2004 - 31/12/2004: Net profit 37.59$, max dd 49.2%, rel. dd 49.2%.

As I mentioned earlier, as soon as I downloaded this free EA yesterday, I opened an IBFX demo account with $500 as the opening balance. I installed the EA with a risk level of 10 and soon after it made a trade.

At 4pm GMT, it bought .49 lots EURUSD @ 1.3903. About a half hour later, it sold it @ 1.3973. +70 pips so far.

I have not been able to get it to backtest ( Yes I read the manual :) Its been on my Demo account with Forex Meta since yesterday and I keep getting the warning waiting for Data Update ( Or something like that ) I am on my laptop today and attempting to stay away from my office until Monday :) Happy new year everybody

Ok, IBFX re-started trading at 11pm GMT tonight. This free EA opened up a trade tonight and it closed with a 96 pip loss.

I started to test this ea, one trade, made a profit of 68 pips, and at least the logic behind its parameters much better than a common scalper, the only trade that made, stop loss 98 pips, tp 68 pips, (much better than stop loss 112 take profit 10).
But lets see what are its parameters for entry, I will test it all next week.

I was able to backtest and it did fine.

When I asked via support ticket on the free site if there would be a charge to the first one hundred that downloaded it here it the response:

"That information is confident"

Well I am confident they will be charging then LOL
I guess that is OK it is theirs but I think they should be up front about it

Maybe he's giving it away free right now as a way to get beta-testers on it. If we all make alot of $$ he'll use us as "tetimonials" once he starts to sell it. LOL

Quite strange. I got the Forex-Autocash. First had it on a demo for two weeks, and have had it on a live account for a month now. I haven't had one losing trade. It does not trade often, at the most once a day, sometimes skipping a day or two, small profits, but as I said, no losing trades so far. It also trades EURGPB on Wednesdays and there the profits are larger. Also no losses so far....

Haven't tried the free one yet, but will put it on a demo

Page 38 tells user to run it on the EURUSD- H1 timeframe while page 57 tells user to backtest the EA on the EURUSD-M1. Tell him that he can pay me with a lifetime licence ..ha ha ha

I loaded this on my live acct this am, within 5 minutes it opened a trade, it was up for awhile... now back down to almost zero--I suppose I prefer a smaller TP.

I'll let it run for a few days, with FAPS not running I need the entertainment...LOL...

OK, the EA finally made a trade this morning. Third one so far since I installed it on a demo account last week. Trade closed with +60 pips.

Tally so far:

1st trade: +70 pips
2nd trade: -96 pips
3rd trade: +60 pips

I've run this EA off and on for more than a week. Overall, the P/L has been about breakeven. There have been a few more winners than losers, but losing trades are larger.

I won't complain since it's free, but so far I'm not too impressed. The backtests are pretty good, but certainly not the best I've seen. I guess we need to run it longer before we coming to conclusions, though.

Mine didn't trade this morning, yesterday was a winner though so it's still set up to trade. Mine is on a live acct though.

I didn't get trades today like others, kind of wondering why...

I'm still running FAPS on another chart (when it comes back from holiday...lol) There are a couple of others I run as well but I'm not sure how many EA's and charts on the same MT4 FXDD acct will run together (I know FAPT,FAP, and NFP don't get along).

I can live with more winners than losers as long as the pips work out in my favor :).

What I hate is this:

Downloaded it, did a quick two year backtest on a 2K account, loaded it on two live accounts, made two profitable trades in the first half hour with no losers.

+70pips on them.

Hmm. If this is SCAM, what do they want?? i cant get that.
If you read on fapturbos Forum, they saying that this is SCAM mail, and thay steve have nothing to do with it...

Since installation of this EA on a demo account on 12/31/08, it has made a total of 4 trades:

+70 pips
-96 pips
+60 pips
+60 pips

So far +94 pips overall. Not too bad. Still I'm not going to go live with it yet.

I just installed the EA on my live FXDD account this afternoon. It promptly made a trade for +45 pips.

At this point, I'm running the EA on a demo IBFX account and on my live FXDD (and trading only the free $100 I got for signing up).

So i started to play with this and see what it can do, started it a couple of days ago, but it is slow with trades... 2 a day lately... Can anyone provide their settings please?

1) The download of the EA was not permitted in my region, I had to download it from our dutch server (I don't like things like this)

2) Took a brief look to the EA binary code (just using hex viewer) - and it calls functions from kernel32.dll and has some internet communication builtin, which looks quite suspicous to me - somebody is giving away a free EA?
We need to realize that the MQL4 EA with DLL calls enabled has the same system rights as the user logged in and can do virtually anything...it also has an access to your MT quotes and orders

So if I am ever about to run this EA, I will carefully monitoring what it does, or - I will let it decompiled and check first.

Well maybe I am paranoid about this and the EA is fine, then we are all happy :)

Hi guys, first post here. I've been trading this EA over the last 2 days. Seems good. 3 trades and no losses. Although the last one was hovering at -100 to +25 dollars for 6 hours before closing for a $119 gain

A decompiled version would be nice, I'm not comfortable letting others into my acct...

Yep, all the logic (buy,sell,close signals) is dun remotely. No explanation on the logic they use but the technique is promising cos the coders can now run the EA safely on a server. No code needs to be given out to the end user protecting the original code and developer(s) from piracy.

The downside.
I think they need to build a name for themselves before anyone trust there money/account to a system or brand. Charles over @ FapWinner is doing a good job branding the 'Golden Grid' to his clients.
Handing over my account to a forexte.com/forexkiller/theforexautoscalper/who ever doing what ever, I think not.

Anyway, running it live on fxdd 0.01 to see how it go's :D

I got the same email promoting the auto-scalper, but it was sent by John from Forex AutoCash (the one that some say does not work, but has not yet given me a losing trade since I started it on a demo in November and live in December).

The free auto-scalper has only given me one winning trade (which I closed manually when it took a dive after opening the trade and finally reached +10 pips after 6 hours of trading!!). The other losing trades were stopped out at 96 pips. I wrote and asked where one could change the SL and TP (often the trade went up to 35 or 40 pips, just to turn around and hours later to get stopped out). They replied and said that they do not allow the users to change the settings. So, I stopped testing it. Trades last for several hours, so I can't see how they can call it a "scalper" if the TP is set at 68...
If you run this EA, you need to watch it the whole time and close the trade manually when it is still in profit.

Incredible but this free ea has given me excellent results on a demo, one loss , 4 winnings , trailing stop to secure profits, great risk reward ratio, etc, I hope that it continues to perform like this, in the demo risking only 5% of the account in each trade, since 2 January It has made like 13% profits from total account.
Really promising, if it keeps performing like this I would not mind to pay a monthly fee.

Same here..I made $7K on a 50K demo account..4 trades total 3 winners 1 loser...

Running it since 31 Dec on FxPro demo. Was hit with -566pip (-288 x 2 trades) loss on that day. Until today it only traded 5 times, the remaining 3 trades made +466.1pips.

I changed number of lots to zero, and this afternoon it still placed a trade (buy)... I guess we'll see it it's right or not...

This Auto-scalper had just lost $768 on stop-loss in one hour.
It opened a buy on EURUSD right before opening of NY session.
Needless to say, euro dived on fears of ECB cut expectations on Wednesday...
I wanted to test whether this scalper trades during "hot" hours (when FAPTurbo does not).
Well, this one does and does badly.
Advice: don't run it during the day!

I stopped using it, I had 4 losers and 4 winners-- but honestly hadn't tried running only after the NY close.... So I might give it another whirl just at night time.
