my expert id always zero. Why?

I bought fap sometime last week. since then I been trying to set it up. but I couldnt get my expert id which is always giving me zero. I've done all that is recommended in the guide yet nothing is happening. What shall I do next? I've tried sending mail to support but it kept bouncing back as unsolicited mail. House can you help me?:confused:

Hi This is from the manual :-
My expert ID=0!! Help me!!
First check the EA settings. turn on "Allow DLL imports"
and remove "Confirm DLL function calls" there. Also check
the global parameters of the Metatrader: Tools -> Options -
> Expert Advisors. Turn on "Allow Dll imports" and turn
off "Confirm DLL function calls". Then restart Metatrader!
You must Just restart your Metatrader and try again! It
helps.

But now I am trying to set up MT and FAP on a notebook (it is not as loud as my desktop) and there is no way: I installed, made the settings (all!), restarted lots of times both, program and Computer. Everytime: "Your Key is not valid. Please activate your copy. Your expert ID=0" What can this be? I don't know what to do.

check your key setting on your FAP inputs. Makesure you enter the right key. The same key you entered for your desktop FAP.

That is if you downloaded it from upir desktop.

If you downloaded it from the FAP site you have to activate it but usually when it is zero it is either te common inputs are not checked correctly or the key is not correct. Check you key.

I had the same problem when i first started faps. I needed two differnt keys. The first one is for the IP address on my laptop.

The second one is for the IP address on the desktop computer which faps runs 24/7 at my friends house.

I just log into mt4 with my laptop at work under the investor password to check my trades. But i can not alter anything.

Yes, but I cannot register for the second Computer as my Expert-ID is alway 0. All settings are correct, and the program was restarted.

I tried also downloading the FAP once more but it did not help.

The problem can't be the EA. Reload windows. If that dose not work...try a new computer.

Did you make sure you have the fapturbo dll file in your MT4's "libraries" folder?

c:\program files\<whatever mt4 platfor>\experts\libraries

loool..:p I think he meant to restart windows..not reload it..that would be one funny fix though...it's like when you call tech support somewhere and they tell you to format and reinstall...

umm sir I'm gonna need you to open up a dos command prompt and type "format c:"

I had the same problem ID=0. The latest email I got from them says they fixed that problem in the newest release of Fapturbo, but the new release restricts the user to only 1 Demo account and/or 1 Live account. If that's all you need, then get a new copy of Fapturbo.

My solution was easier. I just move my installation from Windows2000 to WindowsXP and it worked correctly.

But I'm glad to hear you got your problem resolved...seems kind of a very odd solution, but whatever works :)
