Hey has anyone tired to change the magic order number to stop faps from closing any losing trades??? I have around 150 bucks worth of open trades..I'm not going to shut down faps I've just changed the number and put faps down to 3 trades(just incase it opens 10 more trades)

if they close still c'est la vive:rolleyes:

faps did not close 1 trade...magic order number change works!!!!!!!

i SAW THat work too

But if you have multiple trades open be sure youm lower your maximum trades to one on your new number otherwise you will open the number of trDES YOU SPECIFIED ON TOP of what is already open.

it puts control back in the users hand...now I get to pick what is closed at the end of the month! I closed 3 trades myself and let the rest run...

small victory...but one none the less!!!:p

FAP did not close any of my trades last month or this month without any changes to the settings....

Isn't that strange a few people said the same thing???

faps did not close out trades at the end of the month..

Wasn't sure what to expect as I've only been using it a few days but it didnt close mine either

If your only running 1 max order, you can also just turn off the expert advisor before the market closes at the end of the month. You open trade will remain open as faps is disabled and unable to colse the trade. I tested this at the end of the october and also confirmed with trading support at IBFX that they have no intervention with open orders at the end of each month. :)

Thats exactly what I tried and as soon as I turned on FAPS on Monday, It closed my open trade. So I'll be trying Earls method of changing the magic order No. next month. :cool:

Im only guessing thats because you turned faps on, on monday at the open, faps closed your trade. I didnt activate faps in november untill my open october trade paid out. Then i hit the green button again. So i had no october end on month drawdown.

it's only because the first fell on the weekend
