hi guys.. i have one big problem with fap.. it trades really often in only one direction.
i mean i have a few demo accounts.. i let fap run 24hours.. when i got up this morgning i got almost shoked:

on my fxdd demo account ( 10k$ ) fap has opened 5 sell orders.. and all orders are in a 1700$ floating loss.

on my alpari demo account ( 1k$ ) fap has opened 3 sell orders... and also here all orders are in a 300$ floating loss.

why does fap opens buy orders so infrequently? which setting could i adjust?

During my backtesting I noticed that setting to short only produced the best results. While watching the uptrend on my demo accounts FAPS was asleep on the buy side. When it finally kicked in on buys it was way late which meant I had to watch all those negative buys for a long time...They did finally turn positive. So I agree FAPS is a shorty for sure.

I think (might be completely wrong) that FAPS determine the trend by looking at the daily bars (thats why I think that much higher timefrimes with higher TP might be worth looking at). The EURUSD has been mostly moving down since July on daily charts and sort of leveling of now for the time being.

How it knows when the trends over I have know idea, thats if above theory is correct
