Alan got the nifty handy dandy live scrolling ticker at the top of the forum page that updates over the weekend. You can also go to http://www.bloomberg.com/markets/currencies/americas_currencies.html I usually check out that site or cnbc.com (http://www.forexautopilotforum.com/cnbc.com)

I generally look at the charts at http://www.moneycorp.com/chart/charts_new.cfm. If you change the timeframe to 1min, they generally give you a good idea on the midpoint movement before the markets open.
