another pocket rape -543.22 and counting!!! if i wasn't so sure that money will be useless soon due to an oncoming revolution in the states id be kinda sad.


also no doubt this was brokers work, each trade was done right before a big long line going the opposite way. 1 time is bad luck, 2 is foul play.

also, turning the bots off when things look like this and doubling the stoploss, because everytime it seems as though doing this would fixed the bad trade when it comes to fapt trades.

also after i stopped live trading on the eurchf then it opned another trade.

To stop having the trades open too fast together try moving the Stop Time up a bit. As far as FAPT that kept opening trades for you, how did you stop the trading?

ok managed to remove the ea - have to say I am seriously concerned why it traded after i set it not to.

this is not good - especially with opening 2 trades within seconds of eachother so that i have 2 open buys on the eurgbp at the same time - it is bollocks

I have eventually removed the ea from the eurchf -phew!!

so i now have 3 trades.

did you have 2 trades open together within seconds of each other on the eurgbp... happened twice tonight for me... scary. let me know as i think there is an issue here

lololololololololol i fought the broker.... AND I WON. so i figured out over this long run what these jerks are doing ( in numbers not just theory) and long story short i did my tactic and took the eur/gbp and eur/chf to full pip wins tonight. not gonna give my strat out yet until iv tested it for a few more weeks but i SO encourage human tweaking for this bot to be successful:D

You guys need to keep an eye on the economic calendar in forex factory an unexpected up tick in consumer confidence caused the movement in gbp there are a couple of these days every month when there are news releases at FAPT times that can effect the market.

hmmm gonna start a new thread tomorrow for forex factory because that is....amazing. im willing to bet if you can learn to interpret that website you can be very successful in forex without fapt at all.

You need to protect yourself wherever possible this only happens a couple of times a month so best not to trade euro/gbp on those nights?? only my opinion -it came back eventually anyway so not much harm done if you stuck to the rules!!

This FAPT session gave me two trades. One eurchf for +5 pips and the other, well... It's the eurgbp buy which is still open, floating around at -50-70 pips.

I've learnt this lesson before, however I obviously needed to repeat it some... :/

eurgbp has been reported in many places having bad trades these days but not for me. Not sure about the cause but may be because sometime it is not open trade due to widen spread for this pair?

After further investigation, I can confirm that it was all my fault!

I am on Alpari Uk via vps and I had 2 sessions open!!

The first part of the night I was on my pc and then moved rooms to log in via my laptop, hence the double session.

Here is how to check a double session just in case you think it might be happening to you

You can check for a double session when you login. right-click on the task bar at the bottom, between the start button and the clock. select 'task manager' and then 'users' tab.

If you find two users, you can right-click on one and select "log off".

Lastly thank you to the guys that were trying to help me last night

I took the FAPT off the trade and set it up myself for a profit of apr 5 pips late during wednesday. Thus I got out w/o cost... I could have got quite some more, but didn't want to take the risk of another loss and didn't want to babysit the trade either.
