I noticed that sometimes there is this info in expert tab:
"ForexAutoPilot EURUSD,M5: Alligator Jaw error = 138; desc = requote"

Is it something serious. DO I need to restart FAP?

I reinstalled soft and still same things happens from time to time.

Try rebooting your computer and step through the process again.

I don't think it is anything to worry about.

the alligator is the final confirmation signal FAP uses before it executes a trade. What sometimes happens is that the price is moving too fast for the computer to catch it. When this happens you get a "requote"

In manual trading this happens too. The price is moving too fast. You try to execute a trade at a specific price and the platform/broker/computer is not fast enough to give you the price you want. It will then ask you if you want the new price. This is the "requote" They ask you if you still want to execute the trade at the new price.

FAP always turns down a requote. That is what causes the error message.

Ahh, good to know. I had that error message and when I removed and replaced FAPS it was no longer there. Rebooting did fix my invalid key problem though.

I don't know if FAP refers to memory as RAM or HDD Space, but in any case do this:

Disable any running programs you are not using, such as all the little sneaky ones in the lower right hand corner next to the clock.

Then, clean up your hard drive. Remove old programs, cache & temp files, internet history, etc to free up some space.

Then try again ;)

I have the exact same problem, only I am trading on the M1 chart. What does this error mean and most and for all: does this mean, FAP ( or FAPS ) will not work properly?

I believe this may mean your broker's price feed is garbage...just for fun try running FAPS on a different broker (ie IBFX) and see if you get the same error)

That is what i have every day. I close metatrader en open it again. Most of the time it will work.
Sometimes i delete the fap file out of my expert folder, close metatrader, put the file again in de expert folder en restart metatrader.

When I was getting that error, I was also getting a parallel message in my Journal, something like this:
"####(Login#)" instant trade executed eruusd m1 sp 00.0000 sl 00.0000

Are you? that's what keyed the techs on that my account was broke...
