I had an idea but it is one that I don't see how you could backtest. FAPS closes all open trades at the end of the month. Would it be wise to raise the lotsize a bit at the beginning of the month(maybe the first week or so) and lower it towards the end?

Bryanlower the risk...that will lower your lot size...I would always use auto lots

FAP has never closed my trades at the end of the month :confused:

From what I have seen FAP does not close out at the end of the month when the first falls on a weekend. This is just a theory. I have not confirmed this.

As far as rasiing or lower lotsizes or risk I think it is best to juts accept your risk level as it is,.

I'm still working on a forecasting tool that will help give probablities of when to raise and lower your risk.

right now the fundamentals look good for a dollar rally for the time being. so FAP should do well.

Its those crazy whipsaws that really shake up FAP. the bailouts coupled with the election are a testimony to that.


I need to spend more time analyzing the news and looking for patterns.

Just more of the ongoing study of FOREX.
