Live or Demo

When you are talking about your results (losses and profits) could you all please mention if it is a live or demo account ( a lot of you do)
It makes a difference in several ways
Mostly just in the attitude that a person has towards their money.
Also I'd like to know if there is a difference.

As far as the prices go there is no difference between live and demo accounts with the same broker. The attitude and stress however are night and day differences as play money is not money we had to earn or save to get started.

Based on my own experiences, I think we are more likely to panic and close trades going the wrong direction when it is our own money at stake instead of allowing the EA to work simply because we hate to see those huge drawdowns and negative numbers.

My advice in this case is to trade on a micro account with the smallest lot size you feel comfortable with. Try this for a while and you will soon not feel so axious and will not distinguish between live and demo money.

Personally I am just as cold when trading demo or live - to me it's the same game.
