View Full Version : Is this forum dead?

I've noticed that traffic and posting volume on this forum has dropped dramatically. This to me could be an early sign that this community is dying. The reasons for this could be numerous, but whatever the case may be I want all those of you who are still regular forex autopilot or fapturbo users that I am committed to keeping this forum open for you. At the very least it could serve as a useful reference.
I also partly feel responsible for this as I lately I was barely active on the forum. The reason for this is due to my personal life which has been very busy and hectic lately and as I'm sure you can understand replying to every thread and helping everyone out does take a lot of time and effort.
It could also be that FapTurbo or Forex Autopilot aren't performing well. From what I've noticed on my own testing FapTurbo still keeps on making profit but only in scalper mode. I have stopped running it in long term eur/usd mode so I can't say whether it still works.
I hope this forum does not die completely, but if it does happen I want to thank all of you for your contribution to this community and I wish you all the best of luck with your respective forex trading careers.
Where to next?
If I may I'd like to recommend my other forex forum - Forex Nirvana. This other forum is meant to encompass all forex topics, and so far the forum has grown quite nicely. It could also be that FapTurbo or Forex Autopilot aren't performing well.
I haven't seen any results that I trust (from mt4stats.com) that show that they have EVER worked, and that includes FAPWinner's FAPTS EA. ALL of them create 300-400 PIP drawdowns that eliminate all of the profits they earn while burning trading opportunities by spending weeks on those drawdowns. (I'm talking about the long term strategies, not FAPTurbo scalping strategies.)
If I may I'd like to recommend my other forex forum - Forex Nirvana.
Yes, I bet! Opening a forum and selling advertising within it to brokers and EA makers and being an affiliate to the makers of EAs that don't work are much better ways of making money than trading. Two other ways are writing EAs that don't work and promoting the hell out of them and the best one of all, having a "family" that consists of hundreds or even thousands of people who send you from $50 to $150 dollars a month in subscriptions to mentoring sessions, meet with you for $300 per hour for personal mentoring sessions and buy manual trading strategies from you for $80 every other week. Mr FAPWinner is now planning to offer VPS services and even hints of becoming a broker. Having people tied to you as members, subscribers to VPS and then being their broker is about as thorough of a milking job as has ever been created. Maybe a company store is next...

Slight jab at me there...no big deal.

Yes, I bet! Opening a forum and selling advertising ...and what's wrong with that?
even if hosting a forum is a hobby or non-profit business, then an owner expects at least to cover expenses.
if it is a for-profit business, then some profit is expected ;)
...and being an affiliate to the makers of EAs that don't work are much better ways of making money than trading... imho, only "holy grail" EA with 100% win/loss probability may be considered 100% working. because even an EA with 99% win/loss probability may be marked as "doesn't work" when a trader risks too much and his account may be wiped out by a margin call caused by that 1% loss

For me it's mainly a hobby. I mainly hope that whatever I earn in advertising revenues covers server expenses and of course compensate me a bit for my time. Trust me it takes a lot of time to run and maintain a forum, especially an active one.
I don't know what's Edward's beef. Maybe he is bitter, maybe he is angry that FAPTurbo or FAPS haven't made him money - he knows best.

I know I haven't been too active either. Buying a house and getting married sure have taken up a lot of time and is extremely stressful. I am trying to be active again to help this forum keep going. There is a ton of good info here and I would hate to see it all go.

I know what you're/you've been going through - hang in there.
Don't worry though, I will keep the forum online for as long as I can.

I was posting a while back, but wasn't posting much here lately...
I'll pop in more often now tho and contribute more!
I think as long as we all have the Fapturbo ea, we may need a forum like this to discuss Fapturbo with other traders here... besides I've met some really good friends in here... I'd like to see this forum continue if possible...
My Fapturbo is on a shelf for now, made a lot of profit December and January and then started getting losses week after week; then my broker FXDD increased my spreads and I couldn't trade any longer, I am moving to another broker soon so now all we need is the markets to start ranging during the Asian timeframe again in order for Fapturbo to trade successfully...
And Fap Turbo is coming out with a new "high-end" EA, sounds expensive, details will follow...
I have moved on tho and signed up with The Traders Secret Library and have learned a lot about forex trading, manual trading specifically or at least how to work with my eas using certain indicators, I found success with the F9D1 system with added indicators and have posted on that forum... The cost of membership is $67 but is well worth it for what you learn relating to forex... but they will only be accepting members for only so long...
I am also demoing the LMT and seeing how that goes, finding some success with it in Demo tho... check out LMT forum www.lmt-forum.com - and see LIVE and DEMO RESULTS - I'm one of the moderators over there! ;)
My Megadroid is my most successful ea to date so you may want to check this ea out also; doesn't trade often, 1-2 trades a night, 2-3 nights a week... check out the Megadroid forum www.forexmegadroidforum.com and see LIVE RESULTS - I'm one of the moderators over there also! ;)
Just my 2 cents...
Colleen ;)

Is this the thread you are referring to:
http://www.forexautopilotforum.com/showthread.php?t=449
Works fine for me. Clear your cookies and browser data, close the browser, open it up again, stand on one leg and pray to the almighty Apache and it should hopefully work...
