First off I must say thank you and how great it is to all who have spent countless frustrating hours in front of the computer doing back testing and adjusting the faps settings to get the best results we can find.
With all the back testing and sharing that has been done, it appears that we have come down to three main settings. Mainly the aaa and bbb settings. The three that seems to work the best are aaa20 bbb8, aaa14 bbb13, and aaa30 bbb15.
Does anyone think we can correlate these settings to market conditions. For example if the market is heading downward we can switch to aaa20 bbb8, and when the market is going sideways use aaa14 bbb13, and when the market is in an upward trend we switch to aaa30 bbb15.
I think I will be back testing all trends of the market in a few different years from maybe like 2004 and up.

I think you are right do you have any parameters to back test or optimize?.
Some questions I have are:
1- How to identify Downwards, sideways and upwards market conditions (ultra trend indicator maybe?).
2- What time period to test or optimize.
3- Base settings to start. Like account size, Downwards, sideways and upwards FAPS initial settings.
I can use some of my computing power to help out the testing or optimizing and will share the result to the group.
By tha way Great job to every one in this forum!!. I just only want to contribute to our main success.
Cheers

I agree with Wasa, throw us some dates, spell out the parameters to be used and let all of us hammer away at it.

Alright, give me a little bit of time to gather all my testings and post them.

SSI - speculative sentiment index indicator
I had made anther post asking if there was anything in the forex market like what the K-wave is to the stock market. Alan gave me this indicator to look at. Seems pretty interesting so far.
