FAP Wont make a trade... HELP...

I would really appreciate some help on this……

I am new at this and thought I would give the AutoPilot a shot.

I purchased ForexAutoPilot and installed it completely by the Instructions.

And, running MT4 on a demo account.

The first thing I did was download the zip file I Purchased for $99.50 from ClickBank, and extracted it…

The folder was named "Pilot124" then opened the "README" text file and it says:

There IS NO file anywhere Named "ForexAutoPilot.chm" not sure what the extension `.chm' is.

So, anyway this is the file list in the folder.

ForexAutoPilotAdvancedEbook.pdf
ForexAutoPilotGuide.pdf
NFP_Pilot.ex4
nfp_pilot.pdf
README.txt
ULTRA_TREND.ex4
ultra_trend.pdf

So I read all 127 pages of the PDF documents.. Following everything word for word.
I have set this up by the book and have done everything I could and still this thing wont make a trade AT ALL…

I would like to see it do something.

I get the smiley face and seems to be active but…. Still…. Nothing.
Can anyone get me some advice?

PS I am getting an error unter the EXPERTS Tab...

That means you are missing a very crucial and commonly found indicator. It really should be there by default. Try unistalling the platform and reinstalling or download another broker's platform.

This file is the main indicator the program uses to open trades.

Looks like it may be corrupted.

I would try trashing ALL the the files you downloaded and down load them one by one.

Or just try downloading the .zip file again. But I would trash the old one first.

I don't think its the broker or Platform

Are you using FXDD as your broker?

The file says FXDD but sometimes you may be using a differnt broker and not even know it. Forex meta is sometimes used as a default and the files can get scrambled.


BUt more than likely you just got a corupted file.

Thanks a Bunch guys...

It's working now and trading on its own on a demo account.

I copied the 'alligator.mq4' file from the 'Indicators' folder out to the 'Experts' folder and shutdown the metatrader4 program and reloaded it, and it seems to have created a file on it's own called "Alligator.ex4" under the 'Experts' folder.

Everything seems to work now and the first trade it made was a 'sell' in at 1.3813, and out at 1.3793. 10 pips adding $20 to the demo account. will watch it from here and start studying it a bit.

Im hoping to learn all I can.

Glad to hear everything is working. Sorry about me asking the stupid question of what broker you're using loool.. :p I did not pay attention to the file path in the error message.
