Hi all,

Recently found faps (am I the only that finds this an unfortunate mnemonic???). Currently running on a £5000 demo account with Alpari.

So i though I'd join the forum to have a little friendly support on the days you get gored by bulls or bitten by the bears.

Looking good so far. been letting it trade on the defaults over the last couple of days on gbp/usd, usd/jpn, eur/usd. Today and letting it open upto 3 positions on eur/usd and usd/chf.

In 2.5 days my £5000 demo account now stands at £7300 with about -£450 of open postions. So not sure what has gone right, and am eagerly awaiting the ineviatable sacrifice to the market gods, just to see how bad it can get.

My biggest worry is the apparent lack of money management, it seems that it is entirely possible for faps to wipe out you account if you arn't watching carefully, and I hate trading without stops on a leveraged account. So I'm still trying to square that circle.

Yep, it sure can blow up your account - especially when trading too many pairs with large lot sizes ;)

Use the metatrader 4 strategy tester to play around with possible stop loss combinations, but overall it seems this ea works best with a SL. Event so I set one at 300 pips which is about the max I'm prepared to risk per losing trade.
