Hi all,

First post here - Got FAP Turbo yesterday, other people's results look promising so I'm remaining open minded.

Anyway, have downloaded and installed on both Alpari and Forex Meta, and each time when I try to activate I get the message Expert ID = 0. Now, I've tried the method explained in the video (automatic install), then given up and tried overwriting with a manual install, and neither method works. I must have restarted Meta Trader over 100 times (so please don't refer me to the FAQs as they simply don't work in my case).

I had this happen with the original FAP and they ended up emailing me an authorised version. I've contacted support but no response some 24 hours later, so I'm wondering if it's a problem with my PC. Can anyone suggest anything???

Couple of things to try, if you are on vista, run the metatrader software as an administrator AND make sure you have the DLL's enabled but the DLL confirmation OFF.

The licensing routine tries to create a file in C:\Windows\System32 called "cdmma6418.txt". If it is unable to write this file then your expert ID will be zero. So if you right click on the shortcut to your application you should have the option under Vista to "Run as administrator" which should allow it to write to this location. If you have XP, you can always try to move that file out somewhere else and see if it will create a new copy.

I am of course operating under the assumption that the FAPS Turbo licensing routine is the same as FAPS which they appear to be since they generate the same key code for me.

Well I presume you programmed fapturbo with your activation key, right?

Ive got the same issue as above. I tried everything suggested plus turning off antivirus, rebooting, tried other metatrader demo accounts. All with the same result ID=0. the above mentioned file in windows/system32 does not exist on my machine.

running xp pro on a dual core 6ghz 4gig rig so the pc isnt the prob. mt4 build 220 ibfx live mini acct.

any suggestions would be appreciated but as it stands im not very impressed with this EA so far.

Hi all

I had the same problem, but I emailed support on friday with a message can't get activation code and explained the 0=code issue and the sent me a active EA today on sunday.

I was surprised at how quick they resolved the problem for me, I'm trading right now thanks to very good support from faps turbo.

You could try calling them also, but when I tried the mail box was full.

Ive emailed support as well. Im hoping they help to resolve this bug rather than send an active EA. If its not fixed then we will have to email support every month for a new EA, major pain in the .

I've got the same problem. Just wanted to mention it in case anyone has come across a solution. I've checked that everything that should be ticked is ticked etc and restarted metatrader. Also using Build 220.

I emailed them today so waiting for a reply. This error is driving me a little crazy.

I downloaded the EA again fresh today but didn't make a difference.

Anyone come across a fix?

Here is the response.

This is a common but easy to fix glitch in Metatrader4. First check
the EA settings. Turn on "Allow DLL imports" and remove "Confirm DLL
function calls" there. Also check the global parameters of the
Metatrader: Tools -> Options -> Expert Advisors. Turn on "Allow Dll
imports" and turn off "Confirm DLL function calls". Then restart
Metatrader! You must restart your Metatrader and try again! It helps.
If it happens again in the future then just restart your metatrader.

As I found out the hard way... someone also pointed out latter in another thread...try setting your key to: 0

It is plain and simple...the MQL4 coder messed up and it is not compiled correctly for key codes.

Hi all

I had the same problem but my alert happens only when i restart my MT4 account. Im running demo on meta forex which came together during the installations from the videos n links in their members area.

After the alert which happens once when i restarted mt MT4 i dun get a recurring alert again.
I still see the smiley faces and the texts does it mean that my FAP Turbo is running fine or its running empty?

I then make all global changes regarding the dll files and the thing starts spitting out repeated alerts, about 50 to 100 alerts per mimnute. Sent requests for support, completely ignored. By the way, what's the refund on time on this thing. There is no way the program should do this. I have tried every fix possible, except a total wipe and to download again. This is a great forum, and everyone is really helpful, but I see more and more people who can not use this product as intended. Any suggestions. Thanks.

When you get your activation key, attach Fapturbo to a chart and enter your key in the settings window. Then click the save button and give your settings with the correct activation key a name like, "Edaesq_scalper.set". Then every time you attach fapturbo to a chart, click load and choose your saved set.You can make changes to your settings and always save to the same set and the activation key will always be there.
This is what I have done and it works fine.
