View Full Version : Interbank FX or Alpari?
Hey all,
Well I am looking at starting a live account and have had my demo accounts with interbank fx for a while now. I have just assumed I would open my live with ibfx, but from recently using fapturbo I am now thinking maybe alpari would be a better choice due to its tighter spreads. I could then scalp on 2 extra currencies. What are your experienced traders thoughts on this? Is there transaction time on orders any slowler with alpari, or should I be aware of anything else?
Your thougths are much appreciated,
Jeremy

I am currently running Aplari and IBFX together and I have noticed a huge difference between the two. IBFX is lightning speed on opening and closing trades as compared to Alpari which seems to take forever to open and close trades. I like Alpari because of thier fixed spread but the speed of IBFX IMO is far better over Alpari. I will more than likely open a live account with IBFX because they are faster and I like the fact that you can set up a debit card accout with your forex account. Other than Alpari being slower I have no problems with it and have good experiences. As for FAPTURBO I can't comment on that becuase I have not used it yet.
Thanks I appreciate the response. I will probably choose IBFX for the transaction speed, I just wanted to find a broker that supported all the currencies that fapturbo can scalp with at a spread of 5 pips or less.

I don't think they have a fixed spread. Must just be the market conditions causing it to spread that far.

Hey Guy's
I just closed my account with IBFX. I'm not going to get into what happen (to pissed right now) but I would stay away from those guys. They have terrible execution (there's a hint) and there markets are pretty wide. If anyone is using those guy's and there happy with them, that 's cool. I'm just giving you my opinion.

No, IBFX has floating spreads....

Hmm, yeah, no dealing desk broker is perfect. I'm happy with IBFX so far, but once my account gets to $10,000 I'm moving to this ECN broker which offers MT4:

(MT4 Pro Feed)
Looks like a decent broker, what is MT4 Pro feed? I wonder if they offer mini accounts with micro lots?

It's MetaTrader 4 (MT4) with a ECN price feed.
They do offer mini accounts, but they're actually with FXDD. They "outsource" their mini accounts to FXDD.
so would they be better than fxdd due to the ECN Price feed? Soory for all the questions, I am just trying to start off with a good broker.

Well yeah for sure they would as the spreads can get really low in the 0-1 pip range...But the only thing is the opening account balance has to be $10,000 or more - that's the only drawdown
From what I hear FXDD is ok too though, but the pip speads are in the industry average range..nothing special and FXDD IS a dealing desk broker.
