IBFX Issue

Hey Guys,

I noticed something this week that I just thought I would make you aware of. I have 2 demo accounts running with FAP turbo to compare results. All week IBFX was getting NO trade day on long term. Forex Meta and FXDD were both getting result: to TRADE today. Both seemed to be scalping though.

I actually got through to support on the phone last night and asked them about this. Their response is that they have been noticing "unique trading" on IBFX this week, and they would recommend going with FOREXMeta, FXDD, or Alpari.

IBFX must be doing something to prevent FAPTurbo from executing trades? Weird. I was actually going to go with IBFX this week for my live account but am now thinking ForexMeta or FXDD. I have been demoing Forexmeta but not FXDD. Would you be concerned about going live with FXDD without demoing them, there spreads are 1 pip lower so should have better results right?

I also have IBFX and it quit trading faprobot. Autopilot still works. I went toIBFX chat and they said the issue is with FapTurbo. I cannot reach the support for Fapturbo by phone. Noone answers and the voicemail box is always full.

I went to download the new FapTurbo20 and entered the info from my other broker. Do Not Do this. Now I am locked out of Fapturbo all together. Their 'Protection' software has a RED message on all my screens . . .Something about Illegeal Copy or something to that effect.

I am tempted to cough up another $149 to get a new robot, but I am afraid I will run into the same issues with no support. Note: I have also sent email to the support address with no reply.

You shouldn't have to pay up for doing something that according to the original terms of service was legit. Email them and keep trying to call them, get them on the phone and tell them what you did and that you want them to reset/open your key.

if you've totally bunked your fapturbo license for good, and have no recourse through contacting them, then maybe refund it through clickbank, wait a little while, and buy it again? Hmm... i just don't think it's fair to pay up for something that we all assumed would be a non-issue. There was no mention of limiting keys/licenses until recently.

I agree with your comment about the change of the original terms of service and I have sent an email to the Support to that effect. I will report back when/if I get the reply.

I think you should check the settings of the EA and be sure that the GMT offset if good. otherwise it will not work!

I am actually thinking about something about VPS. Suppose I trade from a famous VPS like FXHoster, will the broker be able to recognize it from the IP address? If so, they will realise it is an EA and may possibly take measures against my account? Do you think it is possible? I am asking this because I am considering using VPS...
