I am currently using FXDD.
Alpari has very low spread on scalper pairs. I've requested an alpari account a week ago but never heard anything from them again. I also heard alpari excute very slow.
should I change to alpari or stick with FXDD?

Fap Turbo doesn't work well with Alpari.

Alpari does execute pretty darn slow. I'm switching to IBFX most likely.

How steady is that spread on the GBP/CHF? The spread on the other pairs are typical though. IBFX has 3 pip spread on eur/gbp and 5 pip spread on usd/cad, and 4 pip spread on eur/chf.
But GBP/CHF spread on ibfx sucks...

Right on...their servers must be some dusty 486 computers or something like that. I closed my live account with them as I got tired of their slow server response. Other than that I haven't had any problems with them or cause to complain.

As I found out on live account -first time last night the pairs are not very stable at all.
7 trades on 11/12-12-08 ..........no losses though.

LOL 486, (haven't heard that in a while) but sometimes they go so damn slow I thought it would be more like a 386!!

Yeah, Alpari is ok only for manual trading...sorry but that's just the way it is..good only for long term traders.
my 2 cents...

Ya I'll be running Alpari and IBFX at the same time and the difference is day and night. I'll open a manual trade with Alpari, then switch over to IBFX and open a trade. Once IBFX opens a trade I will switch back over to Alpari and then it'll open a trade.

FWIW, Alpari say their spreads will be returning to normal at the "beginning of next year". Mind you I think I've gone off them anyway. Did someone say they been getting executions of up to 15 seconds.
It sort of reminds me when I first started trading years ago and asked my bank to buy some shares for me. They laughed when I gave them the price I wanted and said I'd get it at whatever price they give. All I could say is how many I wanted.

There're decent enough for the free $100. I have demo'ed with them before with good results. I'm using Alpari right now and I'm about to dump them and go to FXDD. I know Earl uses FXDD and he is doing good until just recently. But everyone is not doing good lately.
