Are you STILL using Flop Turbo ????

Hello to all,

If you are still using Flop Turbo (aka fapturbo) I wish you the best of success. However, please be advised that I have suffered substantial losses due to this "miracle" expert advisor.
This EA made a few small gains and then proceeded to wipe out at least 10 percent of my account. This happened on more than one occasion as I have attempted to use this EA for the past five months. I have studied other user stats and it shows me the same thing. Small gains with HUGE losses. I have been involved in Internet "sales ploys" for several years and I believe it is time to put an end to people like those who promote Flop Turbo.
If trading Forex was important to them they would be concentrating on doing that and NOT offering rewards for selling the most copies of Flop Turbo.

This post is also relevant for the "MegaDroid" robot... another sales ploy that will only LOSE your money (and promoted by the Flop Turbo "Team"). The "creator" of this robot is an "INTERNET SALESMAN". DO NOT LOSE YOUR MONEY..... please.

sorry for your loss. definitely, fapturbo is not a miracle. and it requires some prior forex experience (demo and live) to be successful.

but it was up to a trader how much to deposit to unknown EA and how much risk on one trade. btw, 10% loss is not the limit, a trader can choose any value from 1% to 100%.

i agree that fapturbo team did not proper disclose risks associated with forex trading on their web site. but it looks like fapturbo was the first consistently profitable EA which required brokers either to ban clients who used it or change how their systems calculated spreads to combat the EA and stay in business.

i don't agree that your post is relevant to megadroid. because their web site has required risk warnings including the following:

Hello Miksa,

First of all you seem to be taking it for granted that I have no experience when you know nothing of what I have done. For the most part the settings I used were the "moderate" settings as per recommendations.
As for the MegaDroid, this robot is associated with the person who promoted a "Forex Scalper" for eur/usd which was a BIG loser for me and others if you would care to research the forums.

You say a 10% loss is not the limit?????? What kind of math do you use. Of course it is not the limit but when I purchase an EA I don't expect it to CONSISTENTLY lose money when used according to the guidelines. Of course the Flop Turbo could lose 100% of my account. Is THAT the limit???

egadsfx, that's right i know nothing about your experience. i don't make any assumptions.

imho, an experienced trader would never use any "settings as per recommendations", but only his own settings after back and forward testing. and then he would not blame a robot for a loss, but only himself

i meant that when using an EA a trader has an ability to set his own limits to how much he can lose. 1% / 10% / 100% - it is all up to a trader.

Well Miksa..... I'm afraid that I still don't understand your meaning. To say that when using an EA it's all up to the trader???? Isn't the EA supposed to make the entry/exit points? According to all advertised procedure you should be able to let the EA execute the trades. Isn't that what an EA is for ??

Frankly.... you are not making sense and I wonder what your motive is for defending Flop Turbo. If I need to "defend" the EA from making bad trades why should I not just trade manually in the first place? Or perhaps you can explain further what it is that you mean. Are you saying that I should just let the EA run until it has lost 100% of my account (which it will surely do).\

PS.... Don't ruin your credibility over a few dollars in affiliate sales

yeah egadsfx, it looks like we don't quite understand each other.

i meant that using or not using EA, with what settings and risk per trade was up to a trader.

my point was that a trader should do his due diligence prior to go live. then he will know how much he want to risk on one trade and lose in total (up 100% as it is known "do not invest money you cannot afford to lose.")

LOL ... in my opinion an experienced trader would never believe in any EA ad. so prior to going live he would run many tests (back and forward) to verify if EA works as advertised.

i am still testing megadroid. back tests were not bad. new version 1.10 is coming. and forward test for my own settings so far is up 16%. let's see how it goes
