Default Broker Restrictions on Scalping

Does anyone think that fapturbo will violate many brokers rules about scalping?

Highly doubtful as it almost never stays in a trade for 2-3 seconds and the trades are made on pairs where the markets are closed or closing for the day from what I have seen.
From the broker view point the trades look like standard trades with a reasonable TP and SL, but the internal logic usually closes them out in a few minutes to a couple of hours. The broker cares that you pay the spread as many times as possible.

I just did some googling for my broker (interbankfx) and found this:

Client Services 60: In accordance with our no dealer intervention business model it is not the policy of Interbank FX to police the trading style and activities of our clients. However, as a general rule we recommend that clients remain in trades for a duration of at least 90 seconds
.

I guess as long as the majority of trades are over 90 seconds we should be fine.

I don't know what the rules are for other brokers

I think you'll be fine as long as you stay away from the pure garbage bucketshop brokers. Avoid all those with so called "1 pip spread" that are also dealing desk brokers.

FWIW Alpari (UK) do allow scalping if you want peace of mind.

While it is called a scalper the average trade length is about 40 minutes with some going WAY over that mark. I don't think it falls into the text book definition of scalping just because the TP is small, although I am sure some would argue that the TP is all that matters with scalping.

If they do not allow scapling, then they have a dealing desk working against your trades. I think Metaqoutes has developed tracking software for brokers to work against clients. The forex market would be easy to trade, if there were no brokers. Real scalping only works on a true ECN intstitutional connection...unless you are trading at least 100 grand then no dice.

Good link Admin! Yeah, I always knew that. Somedays I think it is easier to trade currency futures CMS was always nortorious for power outs on NFP day--LOL Hopefully fapturbo in stealth mode will shrug off some those gremlins.

I dunno, hopefully it will, but I still suggest you take the advice I've outlined in that article..especially the withdraw on a regular basis..do not treat your brokerage account like a bank account or you may be sorry someday.

Cheers,
Alan
