Brokers finally are decreasing spreads!

Alpari is going to decrease spreads on 16 currency pairs including popular EURGBP and EURCHF! New night spread will be 4 instead of 5! That means fapturbo clients have much more possibilities for successful trading.

IBFX has announced the upcoming change to 5 digits in price quotes which also should decrease their spreads. Please note fapturbo automatically detects 4-5 digit brokers and there is no need for any adjustments on the trader's side.

FXCM reduced their variable spreads in the end of March as well.

FXCBS (http://fapturbo.com/brokers.html) is adding more liquidity providers and going to decrease the spreads as well. Their minimum deposit was reduced from 10k to 2K.

As Donna told me May to November is a traditional low-spread time. Spread can increase again near Christmas time.

Yeah they can but i'll be staying out of the market for the week surrounding December 25th anyway as well as the first week of January.

unfortunately Alpari has actually increased spreads - since Sunday evening, April 5. Around FAP's trading hours, the spread actually goes up to 6 on EURGBP. The spread for EURCHF has also increased to 5.

Spreads around the weekend are normally increase. You should look for spreads during the trading week

Mike, i don't think jduttera meant "spreads around the weekend", but "spreads - since Sunday evening, April 5." i hope you see the difference.

Yeah, I'm talking about all week long, every week for the forseeable future on both EURGBP (6 pips all last week) and EURCHF (5 pips all last week).

Alpari even sent an email announcing spread changes (some increases and some decreases). Unfortunately, the pairs I/we care about have been increased. I also sent an email to their support and their official reply with respect to increases in EURGBP and EURCHF was:

"Spreads were widened because of current market situation, when our liquidity providers raise spread, we must raise our spread as well. Once the banks narrow their spread we will narrow the spread according to our liquidity providers."

fapturbo keep making big loss for scalper these days beside fluatucted market situation. I guess I will have to temporary stop using it until everything back to normal.

I agree, however, I still trade with FAP, but with smaller trade size.

Btw. looking from your signature about LiteForex, have you noticed that spreads are not fixed, EURGBP goes up to 5 during FAP's working time ?
