FAPT Long term settings discussions

I know there's a lot of great discussion around modifications to the original FAP EA's parameters but there doesn't seem to be much playing with fapturbo. For instance a common recomendation for FAP is to set aa and bb to 20 and 8. Does this translate well to FAPT? Just trying to understand where (if at all) I can play with the settings

I've been using Xchaparro's settings and they seem to be working pretty well.
I'm now running FAPT longterm on my live account, but with very low lots and max number of trades set to 1.
I made a huge mistake today. I decided to do some manual trading on the demo and opened up a trade of 1 lot on the Eur/Usd, it took me a while to realise I had opened it on the live account.

By this time it was down £200, major depression, all those gains on the scalper wiped out and then some.

I posted my settings that so far have worked for me that someone is using....Find thread "trades January 14th, page 6, top of page. I didn't change aaa, only the MA large/small along with what you see. Used eur/usd like a scalper. Try it out on demo and see what you think.

Some of these trades were hedged by xchaparro's Safeguard EA.

The 600 pip SL doesn't cut it for me as I would be risking my whole evaluation account in one go (opened a 500 buck FXPro mini and no micro available there). Have any of you guys tried a lower SL around the 100 mark? Gonna see if I can run an optimisation for that over the weekend but I'm a n00b when it comes to this so might need some help. What other settings do you reckon I should run in the optimisation?

I'm running with the 600 pip SL, but I'm also uising the hedging EA. I was pretty close to actually hitting the hedge this morning before the EURUSD plumetted 100 pips.

I used 280 SL and I think this is a pretty good SL point for fapturbo long term.

a 20 tp and 280 sl means a 14 win to 1 loss to break even.... that translates to 93.3% just for break even

with spreads, etc. you are looking at needing 95% with these settings... anyone have a basic htm output file with trades over a month period using these settings?

TP 80 instead of 20 most people using here.

So the rate is not as what you've calculated.
