I have been running fapturbo since last November. My account was in the positive since then. But today, after 5 months of trading, it lost everything it won before. My account is in the negative, first time since November. (The situation is similar to the creator's $500 account, except that I started with $1000.)

I am really disappointed.

The SL is way too far for that pair imo... i set mine to 60 and think that is still too far away.

Let me guess.. did you lose it on the EUR/USD trade? Cos it has a stop loss of 500 pips which is outrageous. I tweaked it to about 70 pips and I feel that itself is large. Well, the most important thing is when to know its time to exit. I've had the "ohhhh.. my account is running negative but I'm sure it will come back again" syndrome and I bet every forex trader has this mentality. But that is often times letting it dig your grave even further.

It was EURGBP not EURUSD. I use only the scalper algorithm.
If the SL is reduced, the backtests become worse, so I don't think it is a perfect idea.

Has there been more EURGBP stops hit in the last two weeks? I stopped trading this pair early this month...I just don't think the risk:reward ratio justifies trading this pair. I am only trading EURCHF and besides one stop hit I have been successful and am currently up around 12% this month.

Statistically the eurgbp is the best performing pair but it has been struggling lately. My SL is set to 40 which was the next best level when I optimised it earlier. That still means a loss of around 55-60 bucks every time it gets hit. I've got 3 hits the last 8 days which isn't much fun. The eurchf was hit twice the first week this month, coupled with a couple hits on usdcad and April sucks. Waiting to fund the new account until I see the results picking up again (if ever).

I went to one of the review sites that have lots of positive reviews of fapturbo, and I left a comment saying it was no longer working.
The post was not allowed. So much for Mark Larsen's unbiased reviews.
