fap turbo is making profit for me every week trading eurchf.

megadroid has so far made 14 for 14 positive trades. what if this could be put on other pairs?

robominer continues to go into dd, make profits, make profits, go into dd and on and on.

but most are crap. do your research before even buying $#!+ like magic machine, forexkiller, forexmonkey etc etc. find a forum with knowledgeable coders who test all the BS. do your own backtests, if it doesn't show a positive return every year since 2001 delete it off your PC...some bots do...that's what you need. analyse risk vs reward...how many trades need to win for the bot to break-even? remember to account for spread. backtest every year. what is the strike rate? if its 5% or above what you need...you have an edge on the market. then test live on minimum risk like 1%...demo results are meaningless.

bots are only one piece of the puzzle. personally i trade long term from colin twiggs charts and also just bargain hunting. i am long audusd and short audnzd now for example. i also trade short-term THV from forex factory one of the best sets of indicators out there in my opinion and free to boot.

also as my equity builds i am developing grid trading system EA's re robominer for other pairs and optimising grid width etc...optimise first for grid width, second for what dd you are comfortable with, add some extra room for safety, set em and forget em.

you don't have to go big and lose everything with these bots. a workmate once said when a car wasn't getting over some big rocks, drive it like its not yours. we got over the rocks...but with all trading the opposite should apply...

My fap turbo has made some SERIOUSLY bad decisions in the last three weeks. It made five buys, and then the market dropped. It STARTED to pick up, and is now where I would be in profit, but closed the transactions BEFORE this making a 10% loss on EACH trade (50% in total). Yesterday, it made 5 sells, in a rising market, and I'm NOW again, at a 50% loss!!

Is there anyway in the settings to limit the losses? I know there is Stop Loss. Mine is set at 0.00, but I dont know how to set it to limit these losses?

Will try something else I think!!

You must be trying te long term version of fapturbo. I tried to get it to run more like FAP but culdnt get the stop time to work.

As far as the scalper it is based on a fade technique. that is it looks for the top or bottom of a range and then anticipates a reversal when it reaches those extremes. I havent tried experimenting with this but take a look at the ten bars before fapturbo opens. If there is a significant trend occurring it may be best to trade using the trend filter and only trade in that direction.

Also I am wondering if those using FAPturbo have adjusted their GMT for daylight savings time. This can have a signifigant impact on FAPturbo trades when it trades outside of the new zealand solo act.

I personally have not been using FAPturbo so I do not know if these ideas would work or if they have been discussed before. I am learning manual trading and making great gains scalping on my own so I dont use FAPturbo. But these would be adjustments I would make if I was using it.

I have a few trading techniques but still not sure how to write an EA based off of that.

to give you guys a great example of how good scalpers can be in a perfect world. a scalper called ISEA was made and we at forexnirvana were watching it go on a demo account set up via the makers. well some of our internet savy pros dug up a program that can copy an EA from an account like that and replicate it to your own demo account. this EA turned i think 10,000 into 53 million in 7 days. but when we moved it over from sigma forex (BS broker btw) to a real one it was garbage. i have over these past few months tried atleast 30 full fledged manual systems. 2 of which i know are winners the rest are questionable but seem to do well (not enough testing on most to vouch my word for them) winner 1 is the secret method by.. the secret and phover, hands down amazing system, the other being the THV system at forex factory. this system is complicated but if very technical crazy charts are in your ability to deal with this system is close to flawless. TRO, who is a very good indi designer has joined our forums after i dug up one of his systems. this guy has alot of potentially good systems but i could never stick to his plan as he has so many indis that every time i upload his stuff i got in 50trade planning directions. he makes great indies. pivot points are probably the best way ever to trade but its not fun for me (in a field where i base my life i want to do it the way i like if iv found multiple profitable systems which i have).

ill tell you guys a story... a friend of mine and me both 18 dont really have alot going for us, me being in forex for a good while now found FAPT and i knew i had to check my shit first. my first encounter with a commercial EA btw. well we buy it and i say hold on let me check my shit first and make sure this is right, i did, and it looked good. my friend so determined that this was a cure all joined the army in order to fund our project. he graduates may 28th and i just recently wrote him and crushed his dreams because after learning how EA's work and how brokers work and just 10 folding my knowledge on forex in general i realized that what we thought was true could simply not be. now i am headed up to South Carolina to see him graduate with the manual knowledge to complete what we set out to do. point being is that these EA's can look so promising and promise the world to you but EA's dont work. brokers keep them in check, their logic may be golden but once they see that you have a program that when a and b meets do c then they will slowly eat you wallet gone.

i read this from TRO and it is true words of wisdom. EA's dont work, if they did this market would cease to exist, it would only be a matter of time and scale.

everyone reading this, your going to have a day when you realize that your dreams of an ez mode lifestyle into riches isnt going to happen, then you will either quit or you will start the real learning. fapts failure was my best motivation was to really learn forex, how dare they tease my dream and lie to me about what can really be.

forexfactory.com is another great place to learn and speak with a few vets that still go there and provide knowledge
babypips.com there is a little bit of a newb aura around them but they also provide alot of usful info when you can filter out whats just noise
there are about 5 other sites that have good info but their site owners seem to have an agenda

lastly, the newest found site i like is kreslik.com. the Home of the legendary TRO. he doesn't bullshit or deal with newb questions but the man is no doubt a genius and after you've learned a bit would benefit further by seeking his wisdom.
