first day of trading in demo mode

Hi everyone,

well I have to say I am impressed.

I traded during the London markets for 2 sessions of 3 hours each.

I invested 10000 and made a profit of 980 on 6 trades.

I did place an SL of 1 but did not change anything else in the EA properties.

So I am looking forward to more testing tomorrow.

Still have alot to learn - I am using the following website to get the basics of Forex: (imo the site looks slightly childish - but it's worth having a look at)

Did you just say you placed a SL of 1??

Sorry that should have read 100!!

All's well at the moment - I hev changed a few more parameters and I am down 1000! Will keep testing and update you by the end of the week

Chris, be careful with your SL. I think 100 is way too tight. I've had it set to 120 and it resulted in a lot of unnecessary loses.

Alan is right...get rid of the stop loss...

I'm going to bed right now with no stop losses...yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you do some back testing you'll see you make far more money without a stop loss
