Help needed with v44.

I've read several versions from different users on how to download the new version (Fapt44) and it only complicated things a bit. Can someone please tell me the proper procedure? I've read.... just download it over the old version.... or... remove the old version and download.... and... remove metatrader and v36 and start over again.
What's the correct way? Thanks buddy b

You do not need to delete anything. You just copy the 44Pro version into your experts folder (which will already have v36 in there). It has it's own unique ex4 name so it will overwrite nothing.

When you attach it to a chart, do not attach it to a chart that already has v36 on it. Remove any existing EA's that might be on a chart before putting this version on it.

If you log into the the Download page at fapturbo members site, and scroll down a little bit. You will see the area to download v36. Scan down a couple of paragraphs below that. You should see an option to download v44 file as well as a v44 manual.

I've downloaded v45 and it is on my chart. I used an existing demo a/c which previously had an older FAPT version 36 on it. Took that off and put pro v45 on and it comes up with smiley face etc. Only thing is it has expiry date of 23.03.2009 and the alert is telling me that FAPT has expired.
I used the same epert ID and Activation Key as previos FAPT v36.
Have I missed something here? Any direction appreciated.

Try reactivating with v45's expert ID...

Hi Alan.
I've removed the EA Pro v45 from the chart completely and then 'reloaded' it back onto the chart. The prompted expert ID was the same as it was for the previous FAPT version36. After I then plugged in the demo a/c number and Expert ID on the member site the Activation key was also the same as the one given for the ver 36.
I put all the numbers in the right place but still get the pop up that my version has expired. Is it still recognising v36 as the EA?
Have I misunderstood the procedure to download and set up Pro v45?

Oh I just remembered...copy the fapturbo3.dll file that came with FAP v45 into the libraries folder...I think this should fix your prob...
