FAPT has been through some tough times and I'm sure there's more to come. Obviously the overall feeling seems to be that your own brain is the best trading tool (watching news, market environment, learning more & improving trading strategies, etc., etc.), but I don't have time for all that!!!
-129.5 pips is quite a bit..... I had a few small losses, but for example:
Wednesday there was a small 3 pip loss. On Thursday it made the same back....so now it's at break even. If it would have been set at the normal take profit levels it would have stopped out or hung around in the negative for a while before closing in a major loss.
This works for me because there are smaller profits and it generally seems to close faster rather than hanging around another 3 hours after the session is over. The risk reward ratio might not be perfect for you math addicts, but the real world testing of this seems to be doing OK!
