I'm relatively new with the Forex market and was wondering if there is any indicator that can be used to predict a trending market on the 1Min because my current trading strategy suffers when the market isn't moving in one general direction for a few minutes. Thanks in advance.

IMHO there is no real "trend" on the 1 M time frame...on such a time frame there is monstly "noise" I believe trends are better seen on longer term time frames such as Daily, Weekly, and H4.

But more specific to your question, I believe you meant to ask if there is an indicator that can predict a "ranging" market" (ie when the market has no particularly defined trend), no?
