Maximum Risk
Can FAPT open more than 1 trade of the same pair at the same time? If so, this would blow our money management, wouldn't it?.... as we would have no control the number of trades...hence, maximum risk?
For example, let say we limit our lot size to 1.0 for EURGBP (approx $1 per pip, MM switch off, only trade EURGBP pair, for argument sake). With SL 112, the max risk is $112 per trade.
However, if FAPT lets 5 trades of EURGBP open at the same time, the risk will become 112 x 5 = $560; if 10 trades, $1120, so on and so forth... won't it?
Can anyone correct me. Thanks.

No, it cannot. It's a MetaTrader limitation, not FAPT's neither other EA's.
Only ONE EA can run on a given chart, and ONLY one opened trade at a time is allowed for the EA on a given chart.
Your risk increasing scenario can only happen if you open, say, 5 charts of the same currency, attaching the same EA to each one.
Nothing prevents you from doing so, but you'll then be the only responsible for risk increasing... needless to say, such strategy is far from recommended...

Unless I'm reading this wrong, you are incorrect. FAPT can open more than one trade on one currency pair on the same chart. It's the MaxOrders variable.

If the maximum no of trade is not somehow limited, we can never really control the risk i.e. the maximum you would lose. It is all well and good to say that we, by setting LRR/MM, risk only 2% per trade. However, if our EAs let, for argument sake, 50 trades stay open at a time, our account would be 100% at risk!!
This is why I think "the max number of concurrent trades" is important as it determine the total amount of our account balance that we are actually risking.
Am I making sense? Either way, if this is controlled by "max lot", then I need to seriously review it as the out of the box default is 10. If we follow Charles Floyd's aggressive strategy and let the EA to open 10 lots of EURGBP with LRR 40, we would be in do do.....(in reality, we probably can't because of margin requirement)

My MaxOrders parameter is set to 2, but I never saw two orders simultaneously on the same chart in more than one month of trading...

the two kinds of laptop LCD screens
There are two kinds of laptop LCD screens: matte (anti-glare) and glossy. Both have their pros and cons and are a subject of many discussions. Matte screens don't get glare or reflections on them; however, the same rough surface (polarizer) that reduces the intensity of reflected light, results in less contrast and brightness as light from the LCD screen passes through it. Matte screens might be hard to read outside, especially in the sunlight; most laptops come with glossy screens nowadays. Glossy screens have vibrant colors, highest contrast and brightness because they have a smooth, high-gloss surface. As a result, outdoor visibility becomes much better. However, strong lighting causes glare on these screens, which is very annoying and may harm your eyes if you have to stare at it all the time. You can also see reflections on the screen; besides, some designers find the colors unrealistic.Which ones are better? We'd love to hear your opinion!
