I heard a rumor somewhere on this forum that Marcus may be releasing an update version of classic FAP....can anyone verify this for me?

I'm still confused about the licensing ...

... i'm running my fapturbo trial on Alpari-UK ...

... does this oblige me to use Alpari-UK for my live account?

i read somewhere that the fapturbo team abandoned alpari - because their spreads are too wide - is this correct?

Also - how will customers be informed about the V20 bug fix? (mm=true - always trades 0.01 lots)

Will the team email all customers with a solution?
Or will they just wait for the next release?

It depends on their extremely talanted "developer" ...

My recommendation use that first file which has number 16.

No it does not. You can activate any other brokerage account you want to use live.

I'm not sure whether they will e-mail all customers or not, but I spoke with Mike (one of the developers) via IM and he told me that he'll let me know when they've got the bug squashed and I will let you all know about it.

After all, how they have handled their business so far pisses me off. The fact of the matter is that they changed the policy without any notice in advance. Every time I emailed them for clarification or some other questions, they sent me a canned message. They don't take customers' voice seriously

With extreme patience and attention one could even trade fapturbo live without even buying it. You'd just get a demo activated copy from a friend and when you notice the demo account open a trade you jump on over to your live account and manually open a similar trade.

Well my point no longer applies as you can no longer "get a demo activated copy from a friend"...

From now on it is 1 live account 1 demo account...

Hi all,
I called the fapturbo guys the other day with concerns over the licensing and concerns about running on a VPS and mirroring to my laptop incase the VPS went down. I wanted clarification about the 1 live broker license agreement. Apparently the license agreement is month to month which means at the end of the month you can switch to a new broker. Unfortunately they did not clarify this very well on the website as most of you, including myself, read it as being stuck with the same broker for life.

In terms of the VPS, my concern was the activation key is tied to the computer it is running on along with the account number. He said he could not answer that question and would have to talk to the developers. Interestingly enough I received an email (looked to be a customer wide notice) that stated V22 was now out would fix the issue with installing on a VPS and other computers at the same time as long as the account number is the same.

Also not sure if everyone is aware of this but they said you can either run 1 demo and 1 live or 2 lives.

Hmm, you should be able to run an unlimited number of demo accounts but only 1 live account.
