Default Money management bug in FapTurbo 20

Hi everyone just wanted to let you all know that I had a chat with Mike (one of the fapturbo developers) and made him aware of the bug in fapturbo 20 where when money management is turned on it will only trade with 0.01 lots regardless of account size.

He was not aware of that bug apparently. This is caused by account leverage. If the account leverage is anything other than 100:1 it will cause this.

He said they will fix this bug soon.

For now I advise you all to manually set lot sizes or wait until a fixed version gets released.

UPDATE: The MM bug has been fixed. Current version: FAPTURBO 22. Licensed till 2009.01.15

Go download your copy!

Thanks Alan, but I have to say I noticed this on backtests in fapturbo 16 as well... thought it was just me.

Thats odd, my back tests with V16 all used the MM as I could see the lot size grow so long as I had it turned on.

Yes V16 has been ok with me too for backtesting and live. All the automatic lots allocations seem fine.

Miksa, stop being so negative. It's not like it doesn't happen and cannot happen with other EAs or other financial trading tools.

As far as I know this bug appeared in v20 as MM worked just fine on my demo accounts with v16 (I had my leverage set at 200:1)

If your accout is leveraged 100:1 then V20 MM will work. The bug only appears on accounts where the leverage is different than that. As with anything new, it is up to you to test it before putting it on a live account. I would recommend testing any new release for at least a week before you put real money behind it.

I'm leveraged at 50:1 and I have v16. When I turned MM on, I commented that I had to manually set my lot sizes on the trader platform as FAPT took NO notice of my FAPT settings. However, now I have MM to off, and went back to default settings, it appears on the FAPT EUR/USD to either accept the LRR setting or use the LowLot depending upon its robotic deduction of the market.

Default bug appeared in 19

I've been following this issue and have complained many times to support. Didn't believe me of course. Instead, pitched me the paid subscription for access to their forum (which would probably not do any good).

This issue started as early as v19 for me. Persists into v20 :-(

Does anyone have the contact info of the developer? As a developer myself, I would want to know immediately if my software had such a huge bug.

Anyhow, got my fingers crossed that it will be fixed soon.

I still use first version and everything works just fine. Yesterday I quickly have checked the code of both version and almost all variables were changed in this new version. As I develop in many languages, also in C++ I don't understand why would someone change all variables with new names...strange to me. I'm asking myself, where do they get those files as this fapturbo20 is not improved file. I think I'm going to use old version in future. Have a nice trading day
