After activating fabturbo to my live account, I've decided to change my leverage from 1:200 to 1:100 and asked my broker to decrease it.

After the leverage update, suddenly fabturbo stops, and asks for activation saying " your copy is not activated. please activate your copy".

The problem is, I've already activated it. My live account number is the same, broker is the same, only leverage is different; and now it asks me to activate it again which is impossible to do.

I've sent an email to fabturbo team regarding to problem but frankly I'm not very hopeful.

Don't do what I've done. Never ask your broker to change your settings.

Have you tried re-entering the activation key you got the first time? This is displayed on the 'downloads' page, at the point where you enter the information to get the key- these should already be filled in with the one you activated before. Just copy and paste the key into fapturbo again.

Yeah, I've tried that also, but it doesn't work.
I've figured out what the problem is. After the live accunt activation, fortunately, I've noted the expert id with the key. Now I've checked the warning message again, and see that, activation asked for the id number is different now.
I don't know how but changing the leverage also changed the expert id number. So program thinks that it's been installed on a different account.
Very strange, very odd.

Try downloading a new copy of fapturbo from the members zone and reactivate it.....make sure you overwrite the old one...load up a fresh chart too..

Ah, now I know why I can't activate either...I called my broker to change my leverage settings from 100 to 200 . Now what to do?

OK, admin reset my live acct activation key so that I could generate a new key.

Calling your broker to change the leverage will cause your metatrader to appear as a different acct to fapturbo, and a new activation key will be generated. Not sure how fapturbo can resolve this glitch.

I changed mine yesterday also ...lev:100:1 per Mike's instructions from
fapwinner.com.So last night I down loaded turbo 23 but the key would not
activate...So how long before they took care of the problem? Please reply.

I wrote lots of mails, no reply so far.

I think the best solution for those kind of activation problems, fabturbo team should lock the live account number, but let users to enter "Live Account Expert Id" no without any limits.

Because leverage can be changed at any time, and if leverage is one of the paramaters that fabturbo creates an account expert id, then fabturbo team should unlock "Live Account Expert Id No" part for the users and trust them.
