last december to january i made a bucketful of money and increased my account by 30% with fapturbo

since then it has been breakeven and below - I binned turbo in april along with FAP

i have noticed that over the last month or so no daily posts

well my question is to Harre and JillyB in particular - what are you doing now.

I think manual trading is better unless u have found a new EA that works....

OK - to the point - what is the general consensus

sorry to be so blunt but we need to move this forward to another EA or manual trading system - because both fap an fapturbo are NOT performing

any response would be welcome as I believe together we can get this forum going again

I have been using FAP since January. It made a consisten 25 ~ 30 in scalping only. I was very happy with it and eagerly checked my balance daily. For some reason it has been misbehaving all of a sudden and I have lost all of the gains made in 6 months in 2 days. It's doing stupid things that even a new manual trader wouldn't do e.g buying when there is a clear sell signal, quitting in a loss when there is every reason to believe (and actually did 90% of time) it would be able to exit the trade profitably. I was wondering if it's the new MT4 build 224. Either way I have detached my 2 copies of FAP and won't use it unless I hear others are working with it successfully.

For now, my fapturbo is on the shelf waiting for better market times for it to trade and for my broker - FXDD to lower its spreads to allow trading during the Asian Market - I can't run a few of my eas here anymore - just MegaDroid and some manual trading using my micro account.

We had a heck of a lot of profit the first 2 weeks of January; trading 3 pairs, EUR/GBP, EUR/CHF and GBP/CHF, +$800 in those two weeks over 2 accounts...

Then, things started hitting stop loss, one a week and then we dropped a few currencies and in the end it was only EUR/GBP we could trade... and FXDD spreads rose and I was only able to trade EUR/CHF... and my last trade was the beginning of March...

So I'm not saying I'll never use fapturbo again, I just need to see the markets behaving for range sessions and my broker to come online with better spreads - I am checking out a new broker www.forex.com/uk...

We shall see how it goes in the future and I'll reassess when to reintroduce FapTurbo back into use again...

I have noticed that stop losses have been hit lately with the Scalper Strategy with Fapturbo for the EUR/GBP and the EUR/CHF; and the GBP/CHF and USD/CAD haven't been too good to trade with much this year either; some of the Long Term Traders with the EUR/USD - I think are doing ok (but you need at least $10,000 to trade that currency safely)...

And now the EUR/GBP has been wavering in its range during the Asian timeframe so my other ea doesn't trade it any longer...

Perhaps it's just a sign of the market these days and things may get better in time with these currencies so Fapturbo can trade in the required ranges again...

And now I hear Fap Turbo is coming out with a new "high-end" EA... sounds expensive... details to follow...

I have moved on tho and signed up with The Traders Secret Library and have learned a lot about forex trading, manual trading specifically or at least how to work with my eas using certain indicators, I found success with the F9D1 system with added indicators and have posted on that forum... The cost of membership is $67 but is well worth it for what you learn relating to forex... but they will only be accepting members for only so long...

I think there's a few people here confusing FAP with fapturbo.

Anywho, FAP is a great EA if you are sitting in front of the computer babysitting it. Don't leave it running unattended for too long. It's been known to buy at tops and sell at bottoms. Not exactly what we want now is it? However, if you're babysitting it ......it can and does make you money.

Right now I am manually trading and put FAP on the shelf. I may revisit it in the near future with new settings.

Stop wasting time on this EA. It will wipe out your account. God bless u.

Now that I'm at home on maternity leave. I took this little pip monster out and have been using it for the past 2 weeks and not one loss. Of course, I only use it as a signal for trades and then I tell it what to do.

It seems to take trades the same way I do on the 1 minute chart. If you follow price action then you'll have more winners than losers. Trade in the direction of the trend is the key.

Right now I let it run on multiple pairs while I scan my own. It's like having an extra set of eyes when I'm busy going over other pairs. I don't take all signals it sends my way.

I've requested the new link along with my proof of purchase and to this day have still not heard from them. I have made the request 3 times directly with FAP and two requests directly through clickbank who made the request on my behalf and still nothing.

Let me tell you all a secret, well, probably not a secret, but not everyone knows this. fap turbo WORKS FINE along with other robots. So why do they fail after a few months? Why does it fail to deliver even though years of back testing proves that it's a winner? It's not the robot, it's the BROKERS! If you are making a killing, which you were in the beginning months, your orders will be manipulated (held, or "slipped" or requoted) by the brokers for a loss! Why do they do this? It's because a majority of these brokers are "market makers" and a market makers make profits off of your losses (google it). They may give you great customer service, but they're quick to stab you in the back. I don't know how they are even allowed to exist. Sure, they make money when you make an order, but they can potentially make 10x as much if you have a loosing order. They do things like give signal spikes to trigger an EA's SL into closing for a loss. Be especially weary of the sites that say "EA friendly" because they have the whole system set up to screw you over.

I have a few tips: don't do business with USA brokers, the new regulations will soon make EA's worthless (only in america.). look for STP (straight through processing) brokers, which means that there is no middleman to go through, aka nobody to manipulate your orders along the way and screw you over. Steer clear of brokers with "dealer desks."

Unfortunately, knowing all this, I still can't find an honest broker. They're all dishonest, even the ECN/STP ones. Once you start making money, you'll start getting "errors" and your account will get messed with.

brokers I have been through: fxopen.com, forex.com, alpari.uk, fxdd, pfgbest, pronetfx, sfxb, and fxcb. They were all scams and tried to keep my money. Funny thing, they all started off good, then once you start making monthly profits, you will see them start manipulating signals.

The only way to counter this is to:

A) withdrawl and close my accounts, change my name/bank, and re-register with them every 3 months to start fresh.

B) or kick their ceo's ass.

I'm telling you this because I want you to SPREAD THE WORD and eventually, the evil brokers will get weeded out due to smart people staying away from them.

I have been using "forex autopilot since March of 2009. I had a trouble with it at the beginning and I learned that it was parameter (original came with Auto Pilot) so, I tried different parameters and it has been working ever since, I have steady trades everyday.
seems like EURO/USD execute between 7:00AM and 16:00PM (GMT) no loss, no large drawdowns. ALso a broker use chose and I now have meta4 version 4 build 225 not 224.
it works real well with the broker I use. I thought I let everyone know about my trade has been very successful.
