Default question about end of month close out.

I turned off my EA before the end of month close out. I did not want to have the FAP kill my losing trades because my float is too high.

When can I safely turn the FAP back on so that it will not close the trades?

Is it set on the brokers time or the platforms time?

I just turned it back on after it changed days on the platform time and it held on to the trades. so as long as its not the broker's time I should be fine. My broker is on Eastern standard time.

If I'm not mistaken it's the server time that it looks at. Are you in a big floating sell or buy loss?

Yeah, I'm floating a 150USD loss. Some are buys and some are sells.

when you say server Do you mean the MT4 platform time that is displayed on the charts? or the brokers time that holds the account? My broker FXDD is in new york city.

I mean the MT4 platform time. The time zone the broker is located is irrelevant. It's the server time that matters.....look at the market watch window... that is the brokers (or server's) time.

FXDD's server time is set to GMT+3 btw
