Hey Guys,

I will try to keep this short because I know it has been discussed before. I got another call from a forex training company that obviously got my info through FAPT somehow. Anyways, they want around $4000 for training, and guarantee you will make all your money back or will continue to work with you for free for up to a year. Now, I do want to be successuful in forex, and I am not opposed to paying for an education but am somwhat skeptical of these companies that just phone out of the blue. Any thoughts guys? It really got me thinking what do I need to do to become successul at forex? I do have some experience, but will be honest, I am not making steady profits.

Here are my thoughts. $4,000 is a ridiculous amount of money to charge for such a thing. How can they guarantee you'll make your money back ? They never mention how long it'll take to make your money back. I'm sure you could search the internet or buy books and obtain similar information for a lot less money. Telemarketing is BS.

Good point, they really know tactics to try to get you! I am glad I turned it down for now. Thanks for the re-assurance.

Jer, if you truly want to learn how to manually trade you'll need a mentor. I'm using a guy that has taught me more than ever over the last 9 months. I went live with an account with him on December 8th, 2008 with a $2k investment and now look at my account.

Don't forget that you have this forum here. There is so much info here IMO it would be silly to pay that much to learn how to trade forex. You can learn a tremendous amount from this site.

OMG, why would anyone want to spend such money if there are many free education forums and websites like babypips.com, when almost every broker offers free demo accounts?!
