Hey, awesome forum. I'm an abject noob, not tech savvy, and I'd be lost without this.

I only want to trade the Scalper. The massive stop loss on the long term strategy is outside Money Management I think I want to use: (2% of account). (I've never ever traded before...Yikes.) Anyway, do I have this right that leaving Use Scalper Strategy to "True" will de-activate the long term strategy?

Also, I want to use a Virtually Private Service (VPS, I think) to run my Fapsturbot because I can't leave my Laptop on all day. I found one for less than half price of the one recommended by the program authors. I haven't purchased it yet, but I did load FapsTurbot into IBFX MegaTrader 4 which I have on my Laptop Desktop. Quick question - may be kind of a dumb one - but can I load the FapTurbot into my Interbank FX demo account on my Laptop desktop and then just dump that account into the VPS desktop, or will I have to load my Interbank Megatrader 4 into the VPS first, then re-load FapsTurbot into the Megatrader after it's on the VPS.

By the way, I have smiley faces on all four charts for the Scalper on my IBFX MegaTrader 4. (That's a miracle.) Thanks to this site, I realized that for IBFX the GMT setting is zero. Just to see what happens, I changed the GMT setting on one of the charts to 1, which is wrong for my broker, and still got a smiley face. So, I think there is nothing internal to the program which will warn us if this setting is wrong.

Setting scalper to True will deactivate the long term strategy.

I would load each brokers software into your VPS manually to ensure that all the items and settings are as they should be.

The GMT setting won't prevent the scalper from working, it will however cause it to start trading to early or close out to late resulting in significantly more risk of a loss due to higher market voume. If you have questions about the GMT setting that should be used you can always post your brokers maket watch time on here and we can assist.

The Market Watch Time on my IBFX demo account reads: 5:10 now and I am in USA Eastern Time Zone and it's 12:10 am here.

Great advice about loading MegaTrader 4 from the source to VPS Desktop and then stick the EA software into the trading platform after it's on the VPS.

This forum rocks. What a great resource! As soon as I'm up and running I'll share my trading results and settings and do my best to contribute positively any way I can.
